Dr. Lisa Schweid - After graduating from UC-Santa Cruz with her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology, Dr. Schweid pursued her longtime passion of veterinary medicine by continuing her education at UC-Davis. Once completing her coursework in 1995, Dr. Schweid moved to Santa Rosa and started working in general practice, and joined Wikiup Veterinary Hospital in 2015 to work alongside her husband Dr. Erich Williams. Their son Raymond, currently in middle school, is the apple of their eye. Dr. Schweid and Dr. Williams live in Windsor with 2 cats (Oreo and Pete), 2 dogs (Leila and Carlie), a rabbit (Alice), and a snake.
Dr. Briar Visser - Briar hails from San Diego & graduated from UC Davis. She always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian & is even trained in veterinary acupuncture. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, riding her horse & hanging out with her dog, Pepper, and her cat, Dot. She also loves volunteering with SayulitAnimals in Mexico to spay & neuter stray animals.
Lotta, RVT - Lotta graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor's in biology. She has been working in the field for many years and has been with Wikiup Vet Hospital since 2004. She and her Aussie, Maverick, stay busy winning ribbons in agility. She lives in Windsor with her husband, their dog, and two cats.
Julie, RVT - Originally here as a relief technician, we couldn't let Julie go, and let's just say she fit right in! Julie is our rooming technician and enjoys meeting all our patients. When not working, Julie can be found sneaking her Hamster (really, it's a Pomeranian in Hamster clothing!) into every store she goes to.
